On the weekend from the 1 to the 2 of June, eight of the Burdekin region’s best bowls players travelled to Townsville to play in the Pennants Bowls Competition against seven other dedicated clubs.
After a 10 years hiatus from the pennants scene, the club took out fifth place in the competition out of the eight teams.
